A cast dream

I completed a project by casting my idea researched in the last posting. The subconscious of a little mouse has been cast in clear, pale gray and blue Gaffer glass, representing a watery dream. Here are a few pictures of the casting process and it's result.

For this post I thought it might be interesting to share with you an example of my drawing development, which eventually leads to an actual work of cast glass. I had this idea of representing the dream of a little mouse, and this is what started my working process. As you will see I continue to draw until I find the right way to represent my idea in glass.
